Ah man.......fair play. This film is in my my top 5 faves of all time. Live action or animated. For me it is the best animated film from Hollywood in last 30 years. It was Brad Birds first feature film. He went on to direct Ratatouille, The Incredibles and Mission Impossible. Its soo funny and got so much heart and Vin Diesel voiced the Giant for feck sake.......whats not to love  |

It's a beautifully animated also.

The green mile and the pursuit of happiness. 2 that definitely tug at the heart strings. The scene where the young lad drops his toy running for the bus in the pursuit of happiness. Stop |

Ohh I didn't know Vin Diesel voiced Groot. It is very underrated. It has so many great qualities and I love the paranoid government agent and cold war in theme. Very adult themed but not unsurprising considering Brad Bird is involved. Love the bit when the giant changes into the 'weapon'....chilling! |

That part in The Blind Side where Sandra Bullock is in the Projects and she is all like "Bitch wheres my son?! I have a tiny gun in my purse! Don't fuck with me" obviously I'm paraphrasing but that's what it hits like. |

Isn't it strange that we can sit through an entire movie where dozens of people get blown up or killed or are collateral damage and we accept it as part of the storyline but the first time someone threatens the dog we go all John Wick on the TV screen? |
