Hey everyone, wondering how the lockdown has affected everyone?

Have you new hobbies, been creative, done courses to up skill, reconnect with family or enjoyed something you didnt have time for before?

I myself have landscaped my garden completely over the course of lockdown putting in decking and a outdoor kitchen soon and have a new found hobby in woodwork and have ordered some books off of amazon which I've enjoyed.

Baked and cooked allot more than before and had time (finally) to enjoy allit of netflix and amazon prime shows and movies I've wanted to watch for ages.

It's given us all allot of time,

Have you used it wisely?

The sticks

Got very comfortable working in a large office on my own......when everyone else comes back in it'll take getting use to or could be bloody annoying

Work wise it's just been busier so less free time at home.

Roll on annual leave and I'll get all the home improvements done

Well done OP...! Sounds like you've enjoyed it too like myself.

Same as yourself..got loads done around my place and been creative as well, and back to work a week now...

People on our Island have been great and should be proud for hanging in there.

Working from home but insanely busy. Home schooling taking a back seat cos of work most days.

Hoping for a bit of normality once this current project work is finished!!

Home improvements will have to wait!!

That's really interesting, I wonder will some businesses offer work from home days or jobs even after this as it can be done this way. I can imagine the novelty of a full office again going off after a week!

Fair play!

My work shut down pretty fast when coronavirus was coming so we where all layed off work and send home.

Been 11 weeks since then! So I wanted to use the time well after enjoying a relaxing week off.

I’m slowly changing the garden, building dry stone walls at the minute, I’ve been back at work 6 weeks but now alternating between morning an evening shifts, have woke up twice in a panic I’m late for work then realised im on evening

I have being off work since March when our factory closed due to Covid19. But between homeschooling gardening painting and the bog I now seem to be busier than ever. But it's so damn satisfying to tick off the long list of jobs I had.

Lots of gardening, veggies planted, landscaping, reading loads of books, deleted FB. Lost weight, walked a lot, spent endless hours gazing at clouds.

I've used it to rest as much as possible! This is (hopefully) a once in a lifetime event - chores and self improvement will always be there, but we'll never have the same kind of opportunity to slow down and rest as we do right now.

Ended up finishing a two years masters course via online learning - what a shambles!

And I do miss visiting the pool and sauna for a good workout and steam session

in the waves

I'm working from home this whole time but keeping quite busy generally.

Loving being off the hamster wheel of life. I've been doing more yoga and more exercise outside. Spending less money is great too.

Missing swimming in the pool, meeting friends and the social aspects we've all been deprived of.

Glad majority of people have had some positivity

People struggling, give something new a go. Wont be long and things will shift more and more to what we knew. But enjoy the free time now and make the most of it.
