Some people never need to wear glasses. I recently turned fifty and still have 20/20 vision. I don't take my good eyesight for granted, so get my eyes checked over by the optician every two years. |

I wonder do people realise that 20/20 vision is only average normal vision..
You can have 20/20 vision and still have to wear glasses in certain circumstances.
20/15 or 20/10 vision is better than average as you can see at 20 feet what others have to stand at 15 or 10 feet to see.
They don't do the 20/20 thing outside of the USA really any more as its an outdated way of doing it.
Don't wear glasses myself but I'm sure that will catch up with me like grey hair at some stage. |

Tried them for fancy dress at Halloween once. Never again there were white, obviously had to put them on before did my special fx makeup, drove to town couldn't see a thing. Got home that night and do you think I could take them out, ended up using a cotton tip bent in half to grab them. Never again |

Bumped into an old friend at the optometrist yesterday, boy was he a sight for sore eyes!
Told him how I went blind in one eye so the optometrist gave me eye-cream. Then I went blind in both eyes... he gave me ice-cream. I didn't see that coming! |

"When do you finaly have to give in and get glasses for reading
Cheapest option at the start is the reading glasses in a chemist or Aldi/ Lidl "
Cheapest option is get a real test and proper glasses using your PRSI |

I've rocked glasses almost all my life and you can view in my latest video"
Friend said they almost crashed car after getting bifocals. They have two separate pairs now and the roads are safer |

Have you not watched Crocodile Dundee?? Always drop the hand first, to be sure of everything like. Stops confusion over hairs and possible gagging |
