Be careful you can be made to contribute to the financial cost of raising a child that you are the father of even if you say up front that you dony want this and the mother agrees. Your best bet is the sperm bank route. |

Google tells me that there are no sperm bank deposits (giggle) at all in ireland and that our sperm comes from abroad... so thats not going to work for you. This one might have to stay as a fantasy.. or you can take your chances and hope you dont end up paying 50% on bringing up a kid. |

Yes its actually a legal requirement for men to provide personal info when donating.. which will be given to the child when they are 18.. but its a moot point as there are no donations in Ireland. |

I remember a case in England where a guy helped out a lesbian couple. They split up and the lady left in custody of the child applied for lone parent allowance. As a result of the application the Child Support Agency went after the donor and he had to pay. |
