The habit. It was part of the weekly routine. Going there and seeing familiar faces and saying hello or having a chat with instructors gave energy and made it social.
Equipment wise....I miss the boxing heavy bags. |

Seeing the weight go up every week and knowing I'm getting stronger. Hate knowing that when I go back I won't be able to lift what I could lift 2 months ago. |

What's with all the weight lifting people do these days? What happened to cardio? Or do you do a combo? |

"The sauna. Building my own one for next winter.
Great idea, not too difficult either. I miss the routine, the music, the great showers, the smell of coffee from the cafe next door. "
Yup, and I can go nudy in my own sauna, the proper way to do it. You're lucky to have found a gym with great showers, the norm is crap showers basesd on my experience |

ya lucky fookah..a gym with proper showers nay any shower facilities at all!?! local ones dispensed with all that to save running costs so we put up with the aromatics. tbh i just miss hitting the bloody gym itself and that ole routine proprioceptive |

The showers in the gym are unreal!
What I miss most though, is the that the toilets in the gym in work are always empty, so they are the best place if you want to sneak off to have a nice long poo in peace. |

Some great tasting healthy recipes and methods |

Fair play to ya Thor! Sounds like you lost the weight by making healthy lifestyle changes rather than fad crash diets! Way more likely that the you will keep it off for good now. |

I miss the Rip30 class I used to attend. I have a barbell and kettlebell at home to do some thing similar. But I miss someone shouting at me to pick up the pace and to correct me for doing it wrong. Can someone come over and socially distant shout over my hedge to motivate me! |

I miss swimming laps in the pool, and gliding effortlessly past all those muscle bound young fellas who so obviously don't do enough cardio. As I plod past em, I usually do a flutter kick without my heels breaking the surface. The ensuing turbulence usually freaks em out and sends em scurrying towards the slow lane. |

Just the atmosphere and gym buddies other than that we are lifting most days at home.
Hopefully we will all get back soon and hopefully not long after that we will all have one hell of a party |

Lifting heavy, chasing goals, the feeling after a good session.
Will all be good next week as I've now got a full set up ready in my garage just waiting for a few bits and I'll be back on it |

Everything, the chats before, the whiteboard explanations ( i always get confused), picking up an Olympic barbell for warming up, heavy lifting before a wod, plating that little bit more then you should, warm up runs and the moaning about whats coming up, getting a pull up with your gym fam cheering you on, fistbumps, coffee and chats after, sweaty hugs, highs of a PR, i miss it all |
