Do you think it will always be there? Maybe not the 2m but to some extent? Do u ever think things will go back to normal for eg, crowds at a match, pubs packed for parties etc? Normal weddings. What's your take on it?

Eventually yes I think it will.

I couldn't even hazard a guess at when though

When a vaccine is in place I think all will be back to normal.

But I hope there's not a resurgence in Deluded anti vaxxers who use this as a platform to spread their ideas.

Just gotta be objective and hopeful as possible

Social distancing HAS to go eventually. As a species we cant let a fundamental way we have evolved to live, be turned on its head because of a virus. The vaccine is our best hope to be able to be safely close to strangers.

and if we have no vaccine but numbers get extremely low or none at all, do u think it will go?

I guess the hope is over time that the incidence of the virus will drop so far over time that the risk is negligible. This is a bit of an unknown though.

Personally I think it'll never be the same again.. How could it be.. There is no cure for it

Even if there isn't a vaccine. It's very very likely there will be an effective treatment that means it's no longer life threatening

I think the only effective treatment is a vaccine.

Not necessarily. Something that treats symptoms.. sepcically an immune system overreaction.. is definitely possible.

Hearing several stories lately of people with the 'flu' before Xmas, very sick with COVID-19 symptoms. Would wonder how many people are already immune. Hoping that the 5 phases roadmap will go ahead as planned and we can return to some form of normality from September. We have to have hope
