They have been back at least 3 weeks and my sister has seen them near Sligo as well.
The Housemartins are currently building 3 x nests on our house at the minute. |

there's none where I live (secret) but I usually notice them 1st May..

They used to nest here before renovation but moved to sheds nearby but haven't seen one TBH |

Before they nest put a CD disc up..( heavy metal )
And it might move them to another spot. |

Yeah I love seeing them...like a real sign off summer and there amazing flyers AND keep midges down.
But don't half make a racket...lol!  |

"The swallows are back here. Been in our garage for as long as I can remember. I heard loads died on the way this year near Greece due to flying into stormy weather and they died from exhaustion "
Aww that's probably why my regular ones having made it...pity really..they were having a hard time as it was...amazing as they fly so far here and back...
Hopefully they'll recover.

Saw the first swallow a month ago.. Loads of them around "

I seen a swallow in town today!
