unless you are from ireland if you enter the UK it's a mandatory 14 day quarinteen...mind with the Clubs not open I cant see myself travelling to the UK anytime soon
Spain also closed to tourists until October & other EU countries looking for a health cert...so looks like no foreign holidays or travel this year.

This is how it should be here also, but apparently we can't inconvenience tourists despite not being able to venture more than 5km from our homes or seeing loved ones.

Yes seems to be a free for all in our little country and the p fighting hard in abiding to the guidelines to get the country open up a bit again
Well done to most people on fab for abiding to the fab guidelines
I know some didn’t but they have no respect for themselves never mind others

Thats bad news as i was due to travel to Majorca on Sept 30th. Wonder if i can change the dates so i can still go. |

Actually fairly easy to enforce, we're in the industry and from what I understand visitors will have to provide an address and spot checks will be made, heavy fines for anyone messing around |

depsite saying that all visitors into ireland have to self quarantine for 14 days and fill oout forms stating where they will be isolating etc over a third have not responded to follow up calls and 34% didnt fill out forms correctly so beats me how they are going to track everyone coming in when they have insufficient details |

One third of all passengers into the country didn't or incorrectly filled out those sheets
The only to to sort this is hand every passanger a room key and a mobile phone tell them where they are going on the secure transport provided and the implications of leaving the room they have being assigned heavy fines and imprisonment if they break the quarantine rules no fucking ifs buts or ands simples
We as a nation have endured hardship and trials to get us to this point why let some idiot ruin it for us |

Can u imagine the uproar if Marty & Bridget were made to isolate in city west for 2 weeks!?! They can’t stay within 2km of their home or stop going to their friends to play cards and have a few bevies & bitch about their rights being stripped away  |

My boss is back and forth to London twice a week with work. So he isnt doing 14 days. He states quite clearly how ling he will be there and gives an address. |

The UK quarantine rule doesn't apply to Ireland, imagine ie the northern irish farmers having to go into 2 weeks quarantine every time they check on their cattle grasing on a field in the Republic.  |
