"Why is it dumb to send face pics to someone?"
For a guy nothing, for a girl it's very differant, we've had our pics stolen and used on escort sites and Craigslist, don't think that's happened to many guys |

I value my face pics at a Sydney University rate of 17 Thousand pounds per pixel, so I tend to send a lot of face pics in the hope someone will steal them. We all know the Sydney University blurb is an rock solid airtight defence in court. |

No I've had mine stolen and used before on THIS very website in fact.
Either it got so many fabs and winks that the profile crashed or fab took my report seriously and removed the account. To this day I still dont know what happened. |

I send face pics no bother but I understand why some dont. If I didnt get one in return in my eyes it's a person whose not interested. Sometimes I do get one sometimes I dont. personally I get bored fast without a pic and chat ends fairly quick. I'm sure some might be up for chatting for months first wanting to get to know the person etc etc etc. When deep down we just wana fuck |

I had an unverified couples account chatting to me last week saying I was ideal for the mrs blah blah blah, said they were previously married/divorced but were now apparently having an affair together and therefore could not send me a face pic of the mrs. Jog on. The account was a year old so a tiny part of me thought them to be genuine.
As for having your photos stolen, I had someone using mine on Grinder  |

I, MrP have had my face used here on fab and fab guys, I couldn't care less, nobody gives a shit, and I'll happily send my face pics to prospective meets now. But we will never send MrsP face pic, it's very different for females, a woman being exposed as being on a swingers site is unfortunately big news in parochial Ireland. And we will insist on seeing face pics from prospective meets, if people have a problem with that feel free to block us and move along |

Well it also depends on where you work.
If people where I work found out I was on a swing site I'd absolutely have to leave my job. The "scandal" wouldn't even be the worst part.
If word got to some of the clients maybe for more senior members then it would absolutely tarnish their reputation as a professional male and hence cause the business some problems.
Part of why my privacy is important to me on sites like this. |

We clearly state on our profile that we don't do face pics,simply too many people here with no concept of discretion or respect for privacy.
Nor do we expect facepics,in fact,they can be quite offputting, they give a 2D representation which is often very different to the experience of seeing someone in the flesh and animated.
We have never felt disappointed in seeing someone for the first time on a "blind date", neither has anybody run away from us screaming  |

Just for context. One guy said he was getting married somewhere beautiful in eastern Europe, the client, who's friends with the queen said to his senior, he might as well be getting married in the back garden. (I laughed but he was very serious)
Others from the USA are just disgusting with how they speak and treat some of us.. not all. But just some context of the type of people that determine the company's actions and they always side with the client. They made one guy who got the wrong advice from a senior take blame for something and they wrote an apology and told him to send it from his email. Then they removed him from the client, just humiliating him overall. He did nothing wrong but it's how it works. You wont get far if your client finds out you're on a swinger site.
And also I work there. People have been removed for far less. It's done with pressure, not a simple you're fired. |

It's not just about privacy, it's about safety, fab is a weird and wonderful place, and we have had first hand experience of the weird and it was far from pleasant.. I don't know the op or anything about him, but I find the post somewhat creepy, what is the interest in see random fabbers faces..? |

The people are not all bad but the ones on top are making millions for good reason. I'm chatty but I'm conscious of every word I say. And if I sense someone is close I'll direct them another way  |
