Hi all. It must be a sign of boredom but Im curious as to what sort of professions people on fab work in. We are all entitled to our privacy of course but broadly in what area do you work.
Ill start. Im involved in our family hospitality business currently closed in lockdown. |

Not in all cases sadly. What you do notice though is some of the risks people take to get out in front of one. Like if they are pulling out from a junction. Some will do anything to make sure they get out in front of u |

I'm have the same occupation. I agree with you on the antics of some other drivers of smaller vehicles. I can't for the life of me figure out why they insist on always challenging a truck, only going to be one winner there. |

Engineering Manager in a pharma company so still quite busy and gainfully employed. My heart bleeds for all who have either lost their jobs or are on enforced unpaid leave as a result of this. We all need to support the small and medium sized indigenous industries particularly in the service and hospitality sectors as when things return to normal we desperately need them to reopen. |

Trying to keep doors open
Can social distance no problem
Some of our work is agriculture related but getting supplies and parts is going to cause a problem
Espically if it has to come in from Europe what was 3 days is now 3 weeks
Also concrete not available only for essiental stuff
Have staff on optional if they want to come in if not no problem
Some are doing a bit from home
We are not putting anyone at risk and have taken all the precaution we can
Lads they know if it's not safe get in the van and outs there regardless |

I forge a lot of axes,hatchets and tomahawks which is a lot of heavy forging,as of now I have no power hammer just my arm hammer and anvil
