This week was the 25th anniversary of the very first episode of Father Ted

My fav ever episode was

Speed 3 probably because my very first job was working with the local milk man on the exact same type of electric float.

Has there ever been a better Irish TV programme and who's your favorite character and episode

Ps I know its made by channel 4 and not really Irish

Can't remember which episode but the one where Ted is explaining to dougal the difference between small and far away. For some reason that scene has always stuck on my mind

I can honestly say I've never rewatched any TV programme no matter how good I thought it was the first time around so I can't quote chapter and verse but it was certainly one of the most unique and funny shows ever made. The scene that comes to mind was in the lingerie shop.
