They're only 10 mins away but its not the same sitting 3m away from them having a cup of tea in their garden

They could have stayed in my house during the lockdown as they miss company

Yes it's not easy for them, however if you're going out to work then they're not being "cocooned" I guess. It's difficult to see how people can be expected to shut themselves off indefinite from everyone else, quality of life is important too.

I dunno what I would have done.

But! There's things I want to do in this lockdown. That should be the best thing we can all do.

I keep talking and talking about finally starting a YouTube channel. Made the logo. Made the after effects graphics. Recorded some footage. Have the social media accounts (graphics for them too) just getting lazy at this point haha.

Lol, the 4 years that you're wiser than me must make the difference.

I fetched some plain flour this morning. And it will be a hell of a meet when it is possible again.

The only thing I would change is that I would have arranged a night out with my friends a few weeks before the shutdown. I've been lucky to have been away on a holiday in late January, and had a family gathering for my brother's housewarming. And I got my hair cut the day before the barber closed

Don’t know tbh, it’s a wait wait game with the airlines atm they don’t want to pay out en masse because it will drain their cash reserve. Just gotta hope they don’t go belly up

The same is going to go for every business using future bookings to fund working capital requirements. Not many companies are going to have the cash reserves to fund all their customers demanding refunds simultaneously, especially when new bookings aren't coming through. The best we can hope for realistically is a voucher and that the company will still exist in a year's time. I envision lots of limited companies going into liquidation, walking away from their debts, and the owners starting trading the following week under a new business,as was common here in the construction industry not so long ago.
