In my parents house. They have eir tv. TV which is run by wifi is working perfect but the mobile phones, netflix and the dodgibox wont work in the house. Even when I go to reconnect my phone to the modem, it's not giving me the modem number. Anyone know what problem could be?

its nothing to do with eir. Eir tv box and modem are working perfectly. Eir tv, all the channels are fine and all the green lights are on modem.

In wondering is it a router problem. My phone is not even giving me the option of connecting to modem in the house.

Hard reset router firstly.

Connect to the router and change the WiFi name - connect all devices as it shall be seen as a new connection.

You can run a speed test but only via a hard wired connection to find the true speed.

Hey your eir tv is connected by a WiFi plug at the back of the tv. This is why the tv is working. You should be able to do a factory reset on the modem. You hold the reset button in for 10 sec. Also try plugging it out 1st and back in. Broadband is shit for everyone at the moment it's not built for everyone on it together
