Have to say the crop of guy they picked for that documentary were hot hot hot. Am I cynical in thinking it was good casting or those beauts actually out there?! Who've thought a stab vest be so sexy ?. There is something undeniably sexy about a guy in uniform whether it be guard fire or army ... |

I think some were picked for the camera or only certain Gardas were allowed do the programme.
I have seen some of them in court also. I either recognise them from the TV programme or my own dealings with the Gardas. I have dealt with about 10+ of the Gardas personally......BAD separation from my ex.

It's a great show, it is good to see them in action , i love it as it has different guards in different countrys all along. Now we can watch our own , i seen the paddy's day, crazy out there.... |

All the women thinking the guards are sexy and all I think is when did you only have to be over 15 to join in the first place.
It's a sure sign I'm getting old in fairness
Also in my job I have to put up with a certain amount of abuse off the public before the guards take over but the absolute crap that they have to take is incredible
It must be only law abiding people that still have respect for them |

Awful spelling first time. The female guards were very hot especially the guard selina. Must be recruiting to be appealing to the public and sure every one was happy by the sounds of it of the eye candy on the programme |

Very good point here at the end, yes this is true, although isn't outdoor sex illegal besides some nude beachs? . Damn i maybe not so law abiding,i don't know if will continue to do so lol. |

They do an amazing job, dont like the police bashing brigade, I know what they have to deal with so have utmost respect. Good and bad apples in all jobs. I'd be up for a bit of misdemeanor with ome or two of them though.... |

I never give them all a pass just because of who they are. We had someone out of their head on drugs try break into our house trying to smash through the glass door while we stood there trying to scare them off  police took 45mins at 3am on a weekday when 2 close stations are a 5 min drive.
Another time they refused to get back the very expensive equipment stolen from my dads truck because travellers were "too dangerous" to deal with and it's best to move on. Didn't even seem bothered to help.
They're not doing a good job when people don't feel safe, that's my experience and I work in law and am 100% behind authority. I've just never had 1 good experience with them.
I think this new tv show is part of a campaign to get some of the respect back to the guards which people have lost over the years. |

I must say some of the lady gaurds on it are very attractive aswel. They can put me in handcuffs any day |
