I rang an elderly client this morning for a chat as I know she is on her own . We chatted for ages. She actually cheered me up no end with her positive spin on this whole situation. Was meant to be my good deed but hats off to her as she helped me more xx

I replaced a fuse for an elderly lady for the second day in a row. Her lights went out on Sunday night and got those sorted yesterday. Then her alarm system went down last night and her carers weren't able to help. Simple fixes but that's what makes all the difference.

Sometimes its just the little things that can have a far bigger impact than we actually realise. This covid19 is bringing back the old values of life and the revival of community spirit. So lots of positives will come from this bad situation. X

This morning on way back from from my weekly escape to get supplies I left Easter eggs with a note from the Easter Bunny outside my neighbour's house for her kid's. She's just called to say it bought her half and hour of peace to herself.

I volunteer for a crisis text line & I did back to back shifts today so my colleagues wouldn't be underpressure with the amount of texts we were getting. Not sure if that counts but I was glad to help.

Every little bit helps so well done to all. If everyone continues to do these little things and takes a few mins out of their day our communities will be so much wealthier.

Somewhere in Co. Down

I changed a tyre for an elderly woman who had stopped outside my house with puncture.

It's not much but it helped her at least.

It's nice to see people are helping others at this time.

Mrs. D has called to all the elderly people on our road to make sure they know we are available to help with anything at all.

She also bought them all chocolates and left them at their doors with cards from the kids. She also bought the bin men and the postman chocolate.

I'm a miserable c**t and most definitely a better person because of her.

And this evening after work a cow that was having a calf in the shed (not My cows) I helped her. Got calf up sucking and put her and calf in seperate area and text the lad who owns her.

I did my neighbour's shopping yesterday....she is 83

My other neighbour works for the nhs and has been on nights. Knocked the door to see if we could heat something up in our microwave for him. I brought a new one last October and had the old still in the shed so I gave him it
