What's the best thing about Lockdown?

Jump to: Newest in thread

With so much negativity banded about let's look on the bright side for a change!

So far Kaizer has sorted the garden, the broken toilet is no longer broken, social distancing is great and working from home is fricken awesome

What are the silver linings to your cloudy skies?

I'm doing so much more exercise and building healthier habits. I'm finally making my way through all the games, books, movies, TV shows I've been meaning to get through. I haven't smoked or drank since the virus first got here so I feel so much healthier too.

Like yourself I struck into the DIY, built my boundary walls also the garden got attacked and levelled.

Now tackling some underfloor heating and later a lick of paint.

But the longer this goes on the more I'll be spending

I usually like to take things slow. People have to click with me in chat and I should enjoy messaging them. It’s a good time for me as everyone is forced to have a good conversation.

Working from home saves money on petrol and lunches everyday.

No feeling pressured to attend activities/events/nights out that I couldnt care less about, but too polite to reject.

No one blabbing on about football/sports for the foreseeable future

On lock down with my GF, so get to spend every day together, rather than just whenever we visit.

"Hopefully" since trump has made such a mess with with his handling of this so far, he wont get a second term.

I'm only in lockdown when not working but am enjoying the the time at home getting things done that I needed to sort. It's not that bad.

And being able to go commando and not have to dress up is always a bonus as well.
