Ideal first message for a response?

Jump to: Newest in thread

Hi everyone,

So im looking for the best message to send too someone to get a response, and not just left on read/instant delete.

So I read the profile and try and talk about what they want, who they are, show an actual interest ect, but no luck.

Just need something to help spark an interest, any help would be greatly appreciated!

I’d always look for someone who’s response is about them but also nods to the fact they’ve taken the time to look through your profile.

The ones that are dead in the water for me are the ‘heys’, the ‘generic copy and paste’, the ‘omg your profile is so hot’ etc... give me a hello, this is a bit about me and this is why I’m interested in you anytime x

Horses for courses. There is no "set" message (or you will end up copying and pasting). There has been some generally good advice here though.

women respond to criticism invoke an intelligent response by criticism of the fundamentals of their very long and often negative profiles but all the while telling them what a babe they are

Show interest in who you message and not just that you are messaging all the 18 to 99 year olds on here and wouldn’t have a willy pic as the first pic on your profile as people often check your profile before deciding if they reply, ignore or delete. Good luck, I’m sure you will get there.

I'd like to read a little more about you on your profile.

Profiles are funny things, there is no golden profile or golden message.

Personal opinion here... Drop the bit about not being verified?

I agree with the other feedback about show a link to having read the profile.

Sometimes someone's status can give you a opening message...

This.

Don't get hung up on the verification system. Be yourself and send a polite, decent, fun message. You sound very polite and it won't take long.

Oh not sure about the profile name though. There are lots of big dicks here, in every sense! Perhaps you have a better selling point?

Good luck.

Be exactly what they're looking for.

It doesn't matter how good your profile is, or how good a message you send, if they don't fancy you, it ain't gonna happen, and if it ain't gonna happen, chances are you're not going to be getting a reply.

Sorry to be the one to break it to you, but that's life

Generic send to all messages stand out a mile like the Everest glossy junk mail that comes through your door and just ignored. A personalised message is better and shows someone you at least think they are worth the time.
