"- which did you have better luck with and why?
Also, is there a way to make sure that only people of a certain orientation can view you?" friendly appeals to me and i would have thought most, you can set filters to reduce who can message but orientationally only men, women, CDs, Trannies |

You think? Any feedback? Thanks
Mostly commentary on my profile has been polarising, mostly saying shit like yOuu sOuNd lIeK aN aBsOlUtE sWeEtHeArT or calling me a shitbag and blocking before I can say anything. |

I think your profile is great. It states exactly what your not looking for as long as people read and accept that it will work. Sadly many on fab don't read profiles which is great to filter out those who don't wish to pay attention or acknowledge your expectations.
I don't think there's anything at all that would put off the people you're seeking. It will deter people which aren't suited to you but encourage those who you are looking for. |

For many trans people, tranny is a slur word, and do not like it being used. (It has nothing to do with the 'snowflake' idea.)Trans women are women, and want you to say that you will call that woman Helen/Jessica or whatever her name is. DO NOT ask her about her birth name, as you may end up with her sticking a heel shoe in your head. There is a lot of information online about how to talk to trans women, (like with respect and not ask if we're getting 'the surgery').Ask the Internet about it. If you search for lgbt helplines, most of them have information about trans issues on the site. |

I think you state quite clearly what you’re not looking for
I don’t think a ‘friendly’ or ‘unfriendly’ works with the ignorant anyway, so the ones who actually would read a long and descriptive profile could be put off an ‘unfriendly’ text, and possibly the people you’d like to meet.
The shit butty is closer to what I think could be a good middle ground, good bad good maybe, with a very humorous shitty bit
It’s your profile, I like it and hope it works for you |

There definitely profiles that appear to be one thing but require a closer read to get a clue as to what the person is like. Some of the what look like quite aggressive profiles , intelligently written often have a really sweet and charming lady behind them that has carefully written their profile to filter out the guys she is likely to match with....yours is quite long and quirky but would attract my attention as I like that...stick with it, refine it as you go..listen to intelligent feedback from people you like ...
Mines pretty boring and straightforward but as a bloke I think they have to be simpler
Good luck

As someone who's non-binary I agree with whoever mentioned "tranny" being a slur.
From what I've seen of the person who mentioned that word, they are probably one of the many who only know The Three Genders - cis man, cis woman, Emily Howard. I was like that myself. However, the "Google Is Free" attitude is not one to be encouraged because of how ableist it is.
I'm genuinely surprised there are no options for transmasculine people here. Trans women are sexualised, trans men are invisible.
L'Oréal (I think that was you), you just gave me a suggestion for the site, so thanks |

We update and tweak our profile on a regular basis.
When we first started out it was very long and way too optimistic.
At one stage it became quite abrupt as we realised how many time wasters and fantasists were on Fab.
Now it’s just a fair reflection of who we are and what we are looking for.
