"My friend who lives in Cornwall dreading the influx of people as hid local hospital wouldn't cope if the number of cases increased in his area"
We have 1 hospital for the whole of Cornwall, already at capacity during normal times. |

"We’ll be in Cornwall 1st - 4th May for one of our many yearly trips! We’ll be around the Perran area this time round x"
I live just inland from Perranporth. It's a lovely part of the world. Hope we are virus free so you can come down. |

Visitors are being asked to remain in the home they are registered with their GP, tourism in Cornwall is a no go this year. Please don't come. Nothing is open. The police are stopping cars as its supposed to be essential journeys only. Supermarkets have empty shelves. Come next year if things have changed for the better. |

"Staying in Tamar Valley Sept 5th to 16th fun required especially if its awful weather like today
So you are looking for sex meets then?
Scrabble and monopoly are fun too..."
Monopoly can be a recipe for disaster, often ends in arguments and the board being thrown off the table lol |

"June's going to be a trying time down here though ... "
Certain parts of the Duchy are going to be in another form of lockdown - bit stricter, though, complete with roadblocks and cops with guns to enforce it...
....will be distinctly less fraught here around the St Austell area, though! |

Bloody hell this isn’t North Korea but please don’t schedule anything until vacing is complete. This virus is even more prevalent now and indiscriminate. |

"Yay! An influx of emmets to Cornwall just as we start to get rid of covid. Our hospital is at capacity without covid ffs ???????"
Presumably your job doesn't rely on tourism then? Many if us have jobs and businesses that do. And calling them emmets?! That's just rude. |

In another thread he's posted seeking a happy ending massage and saying he's prepared to travel outside his area to get one. I wonder if an emmet massage would do... |

Does anyone know the OP (Ms Wood). Judging by her profile, she's had some problems with her photos on here. Just interested to know what this was and hope she's OK. She always struck me as a thoroughly decent lass. |

"The moral of this message being, we don't care if you infect Cornwall again, we just want your money. How selfish
"
May be a little late here but I am more than happy to take the emmets money and know that I am doing everything I can to keep myself and my family safe without going out of business. |
