Think you'll need to go to your message filters firstly....there you will see options to block or allow certain people...say for example, those that are not within an age limit you may require? ...
Or maybe if you're not interested in a couple?....in which case, they wouldn't be able to contact you  ....
Not sure that will prevent them from viewing your profile altogether mind you? Try your privacy settings where you can stay hidden and with blocks placed I doubt you'll have any bother
Ahh....the power of the 'block' option!

Click on the my account tab at the top of the page then click on message filters from the list of options on the left hand side. There is a good range of options you can choose to prevent people mailing you. They can still view your profile but they can't contact you. It's a great way of reducing the number of unwanted messages. |

You an block people from mailing you from your filters page but they can still view your profile unless you block each person. |
