Recently came back on fab after a long break and I've found I dont get many replies. I appreciate this is more than likely my looks and profile, but can anyone give me any pointers on things I can do in the message to get that all important first reply?

First impressions: no profile pic, very little info on profile about you and the "older woman" line may well put people off.
If you don't want to put a face pic on public but are happy to share then mention it. |

Think you should put the type of photo you're comfortable with. Same with info, share what you're happy sharing, just be you dont try bend yourself out of shape. I think it reads fine just now.
