Don't ever describe yourself by listing what you are not.
Parties of the type you describe are usually invitation only. You heed to network pretty hard to get to know the people who hold them and also invite single men.
Your best bet in my opinion is to get to know people, chat on the forum and in chat rooms and get yourself known as reliable, sociable and friendly.
