Your status update saying you were chatting to a woman all night then once a meet was arranged they deleted you. Sadly you were highly likely talking to a guy who was getting himself off on the sexy chat.
Don't feed the trolls establish early on that they are genuine once someone isasked to prove they are really the fakes soon bugger off.
As it's been said in some areas places there's over 100 single men for every couple / single woman so your pictures and your profile text need to be the best they can be to stand out in a large crowd.
