Does age really matter!!

Age is very important to me, as I've noticed a certain pattern. Like most of the time, men below 35 may have all the talk but none of the walk. They are porn-educated, believe every woman is dying to be pounded with their cock for hours and foreplay is the F word. So I prefer older men, 35+, and have a regular FWB who is 60.
Also, OP, are you 100% sure it's your age holding you back? I'd say the main reason may be elsewhere, but because you didn't ask for profile advice, I can't give any. |

I think it depends on the individual! We all like different things. Some ladies like older men and some like younger. Personally I think you need to be able to hit it off on every level if you are having a long term fb. If not and it’s a one off then maybe it’s not so important! |

Tbh we don't as a rule meet anyone under 26 but that isn't to say we would know that in a club environment and we wouldn't rule it out. Everyone is different and that goes for maturity too and experience. If we click and are attracted then why not enjoy life while you can. |

Very much so. We like them to be closer to our age then early twenties. But that being used if we meet someone in a club and we all get on it's not out of the question. |

Yes. I can't have sex with a man old enough to be my grandad or near to his age.
Although, I don't mind men of my dad's age (58).
Two years ago I met someone who was then 19 yrs old. I knew him from a different site so we met up. Best sex I've had yet from a meet! That said, I won't meet anyone else that age or anywhere near to it. I met that chap because it was him and not that I have a thing for much younger...I really don't!
On the other side of it, I could never date a younger guy. We would have nothing in common apart from sex! What would I have to talk about with a guy born from a different decade?! I can't stand gaming for one thing. Or anyone too obessed with playing footy every weekend etc.
So Yes I think age does come into it under different scenarios. |

Alot of people make a big deal about age on here.
Some are steadfast in their choices but some are more care free.
I've met plenty of couples & single fems at parties who said i was too young, and a few hours later were all in a big bed with no room left to spare 
I think alot of people will throw their age prefs away if they get an attractive offer.
I've seen couples who mention they don't meet people younger than 26 because of their children being a similar age, Then they start meeting a 22year old unicorn 
In the end i honestly think its just down to the person, whatever mood they are in and how they could deal with that. |

Maturity counts, Donald Trump is an older man who acts like a petulant child. So I'd prefer a younger intelligent man than an older stuck in his ways manchild.
However this isn't generally the case on here, younger often can mean inexperienced as well, so it's a balancing act, in general a guy in his mid thirties seems like the ideal for me  |

Its not just looks, its outlooks as well & it's these that are difficult to get across on Fab.
I'm 57 & yes I'm too old for many at 57 but most over 50's are too old for me in outlook. They have grown up children etc. We have one in yr3 of primary school!
We've always found our age difference the bigger hindrance on here. Plenty of over 50's want to play, very few under 40's
Luckily we've snaffled a girlfriend off Fab & she doesn't care about age. Good Job too really. Just a shame she's so far away or we'd meet more often.

I think you've hit the nail on the head there in many ways. I tend to have more affinity with younger people because I can relate to them better. I haven't reared a family, I don't have grandkids to coo over... And while I'm not tripping the light fantastic every weekend or having quite the lifestyle people might reasonably assume that a single, unencumbered person can, my social circle, conversations, interests and popular references rarely have much in common with people my own age, unless they are in a similar situation. |
