initial mail

somewhere over the rainbow..

Ok so not sure where i go wrong on my initial mail but somehow rarely get responses. Yes i know single ladies get lots of mail but wondering what best approach initially?? I believe in being polite and give a brief description of myself and try to make it obvious i have read their profile ( which i always do!!) . Just wondered if that is seen as the right approach??

Just be yourself, nobody can really tell you how to express yourself as that would be them expressing their self.

If you try and it doesn't work and they are not interested. Of course there are lots more men than women on here so use your personality in whatever way suits you to make an impression

Read and reflect the profile in your message, be polite but interesting, show some personality. Respect any wishes expressed.

It's necessary but not sufficient, I'm afraid, but it's a good start.

thanks for your replies - makes me feel that i am hopefully doing the right thing - politeness costs nothing i was always believe as does respectfulness.

You could write the perfect message, if the recipient doesn't fancy you, it really makes no difference, and, ultimately, that's what it boils down to.

They'll usually check out your profile before even considering reading it anyway

I think it’s hard to answer.

Everyone is different.

I’m quite a strange character so a quirky message peaks my interest, I like one that makes me laugh too!

But some women like a nice sexy message to turn them on.

There’s no one answer I’m afraid!
