winks and general etiquette.

Hi.

We have been on the site awhile. But recently got more active. At first we accepted all friend requests. Some are very far away. So not much of a chance of meeting. But we get it. What are we supposed to do with winks?. Just an ice breaker? Wink back?

Winks are often used to indicate an interest in someone's profile. Helps as an ice breaker if you are not entirely comfortable sending the first message

Winks are a "nudge"... they like what they see, and are letting you know, ball is now in your court.

Bad idea to accept all friends requests, quite a few will just be guys (even if the profile says "Cpl" or "fem" lol) who just want access to any "friends only" pics to wank over.

For us, if they are miles away, or don't fit what we are looking for, we just delete.

Some people like them they do indicate someone's interest but I like a lot just don't look at them at all.

We like getting winks to me it says we’ve seen you and like what we have read seen take a look at us...If we wink back I see it as oh we like the look/sound of you too
