Did it. There are another 5-10 single guys to talk to who went alone.

Check out BMFC or ScouseUnicorn who does organized meets, they are both sociable, and quite welcoming from what I have seen.

Look for great people, even if not for sex. Go to a social or a club - most of us have bitten the bullet, to go beyond our internal blocks. People like that confidence in others.
