I've been on this site a fairly long time and for some reason the forum has always alluded me. So I guess I should introduce myself, Andi 29 from Dublin. Mainly use the site to chat with people, live in the country side now and don't really go out to drink. I figure this is most probably the best way to chat with people, where they know there's no agenda but the chats. I'm comfortable in my sexuality so I've no problems talking to anyone, I'm interested in ladies fyi suppose everyone has a type mine would be 35+ the more curvy the better. In my years of being on the site I've had far more men approach me then females reply, good for the ego not so good when it's the wrong gender.
I fully understand why women have to have a guard up at all times, guessing it comes with the nature of the site, I'm more then capable of holding conversations but have found only a few will even bother to reply, I guess this is where I ask for a suitable icebreaker,politeness can only get me so far, I'm not completely hopeless, if I wanted to have sex its a million times easier if I was at a pub or night club or even just walking about. Probably not the best place to make friends but I find it liberating the honesty most people show, I suppose I'm asking what females find intriguing in that first txt, I know the obvious bits like mentioning things from her profile and ask (non sexual) but I 90% of the time fall short. This is completely different from "real life", where charm, humour and flirting is most natural. |
