I cant get rid of my bloody Saffa accent. I've been here 16 years and my mates still take the piss out of me. Apparently when I say Deck it sounds like Dick......

I'm not actually embarrassed about the accent, I just don't like the inferences some people draw the moment they meet a White South African male.

Because of the history and culture of SA lots of people automatically assume that all Saffa's are racist and strangers come up to me and randomly start spewing the most, horrific racist bile and disgustingly bigoted statements.

It's a nice thought that the accent is recognised for something else for a change so thanks for the love! Xxx ??
