"If you don't delete a friend requests it prevents another being sent."
If it's their first contact without even saying hello then it's an instant block.
Job done... no more requests from them |

"Yep drives me mad
Especially when they have no friends pics themselves.
I often wait till they go offline, look at their pics then delete.
Miss"
glad I'm not the only one that does this |

"Are we there only ones who think it's wrong to send friend request to people you haven't even said hello to"
Photos available to my friends include a face pic so I ignore them unless we have chatted.
If I am interested I may send a message but not agree to the request.
I always ask before sending one. |

I admit I sometimes send friend requests without chatting but only to local people when they are online. What surprises me are the ones that accept which implies interest then when I message they delete it. I understand if they look at pictures and decide I'm not their thing but they don't remove me as a friend. Seems strange, anyone else have this? |

Well that is subjective....some will think it's ok others not so much. Personally I don't think it's a good idea. Let's face it, how many of us would actually accept one from someone we haven't even spoke to? Not many I am guessing. |

People use fab in diffrent ways, random friend adders will find other random adders and meet.. meet now people find meet now people and social people tend to find other social folk. Obviously the lines blur sometimes... but this was the outcome from my studies at Sydney university |

Doing it in real life to someone your want to have sex with takes bravery and may work.
Online it's just a button click, takes no bravery, so will hardly ever work.
It's even lazier than a 'please read my profile and see I'm amazing' message - which also hardly ever works (but while you're reading this, why not read my profile....!)

I agree its rubbish to send a friend request with out even chatting, we assume they are just pic hunters and block them. How ever a lot of people on here are dissing winks also. I like winks. a wink is a polite way of saying "I like you check me out" with out boring them with some "hi, how are you crap" |
