OP means Original Poster.
To have any success on this site, you generally need to do a number of things.
1. Make sure you've got a decent profile. Your profile is your shop window to advertise yourself to others.
2. Write good meaningful messages to those who you are truly interested in.
3. Take part in things to get yourself known to people. The forums and the online chat are good, but if you see any local "Socials" then get yourself there.
4. Clubs are also a good idea
5. Don't whine, moan and complain, being positive & happy is much more productive.

Don't listen to rude people. Be aware some will happily put you down in order to make themselves look better, bizarrely some think that involves insulting others.
Just try to put your personality on page and be creative/artistic with your photos.
Pay attention to the profiles of people you want to meet, hard I know given many hardly put any info or photos up.. my advice, don't bother with those profiles.
