Meet at a neutral venue for a drink and a chat see if you all click then move on if you are, let someone know you're going out and where

I've never had a problem as such...had very welcoming nice people
However met one couple as a 4sum and the guy was a bit moody and weird..rude even, felt like he was laying the law down rather than his Mrs speaking for herself and she was in a good mood.
Looked like she, d been sniffing and he, d been drinking
Funny situation that I wasn't comfortable with, so went home.
