Having a face pic on public display isn't necessary and many choose not to. They usually have them as friends only or private pics.
You will find though that lots of people ask that you send a face pic via PM quite early on in any message exchange. There is no point talking to someone for ages with a view to meeting if you don't know what they look like. You might not fancy them once you see their face - nobody wants to spend too long chatting if it isn't going anywhere. |

My point exactly but many people on here when asked usually dont if their not genuine i feel. Ive spoken to a few who give you the run around saying they would rather get to know me first? What is the point in that when one pic could stop hundreds of wasted texted " getting to know someone "

Id need to see someone's face before meeting.
I keep hearing about how people can't post their face "because of their job" - I'm not sure whay profession sacks employees for being sexually promiscuous in their own time.  |

I don't mind showing our face pics straightaway if I message first and they aren't local...hiwever I do like to chat a little first if the person I'm messaging is quite local as we like our private life to stay exactly that and would be mortified if we found we were messaging someone who knew us in person. |
