So - been on fab for a while and not been too successful in the meets department. Seems there are a fair few fake profiles out there that ruin it for everyone.

you definitely need pics, as well as a fuller profile that says a bit more about what you're looking for...
oh, and no one else 'ruins' it for anyone else..you've only got your own profile to worry about, not anyone else's as they don't effect, or reflect on yours in any way.. |

Guys - if I wanted a masterclass in how to write a profile - I would have put that in the title for this thread.
If you want to meet me or even ask questions to get to know me - great. If not - thats fine too, just don't say 'you need this and you need to do that' |

no one is going to come to you asking questions if they have nothing to respond to in the first place. It was helpful advice that people have taken the time to give. |

Not one of you have posted regarding the above.
I didnt ask for help - i'm happy with how my profile is - I am not going to go against my principles just to get a fuck - i'm a private person - if I reach out in my messages they are articulated and have a lot more body to them as I'm actively reaching out to someone.
If you dont like look of my profile - fine - if you dont want to make conversation with me - fine - don't bother! Simple as that isnt it! |

i think your first line about not getting many meets was taken to mean any advice was welcome,it was the way it was worded. Clearly all the people who gave advice misunderstood you and were wasting their breath. Still no need to be an arse about it. Handy to know though... |

Women receive plenty of messages from men with a face pic included to ever have to ask for them generally speaking. I have personally never looked at a blank avatar from a random person and asked for a photo...ever!
...and it's never a good idea to be rude on here,people were just giving you advice as I would have done because that's what I thought you wanted. |

I think we should stop giving our advice or opinion to the gentleman.
I think we all disagree with his approach and attitude but I suggest we all just send out a clearer message replying to his original post.
