I class myself as a real nice guy ...but does it take a fair bit of selfishness to make things happen ?
ie. Being polite / respectful hoping things will progress rather than going for what u want ?
Thoughts ? |

Being open with people and telling them what you want isn't a bad guy trait, although depending on how you say it you could come across badly. You can seize the day and still be a nice guy. My opinion is that, on here in particular, what you want won't just fall into your lap. |

Always be polite and respectful.
If you gauge after them opening messages of being yourself and they seem keen you go for what you want and see if it's reciprocated. |

I have a bit of a problem with the whole "nice guy" thing and men thinking that because they are a "nice guy" it almost entitles them to meet. Being sure and knowing what you want doesn't make you any less of a "nice guy".
Most the men I have met from here have been really lovely nice guys. But they haven't felt the need to make it one of their "selling points" |

I too get a bit suspicious when men feel the need to sell themselves with these qualities, especially as I think 'nice, polite and respectful' go without saying. All the men we play with are this, but it takes sex appeal and an understanding of what someone wants to push things to the next level. 'Nice' on its own is not an aphrodisiac.

I wasn't trying to sell myself with "these are my qualities .. Aren't they great "
But I believe there's quite a few guys that can be over the top in regards respecting / not wanting to upset anyone in anyway that are missing out on a lot of stuff that they might want to partake in etc |

I think this can also come down to preferences. I like a man to.be able to tell me what he wants and to be confident enough to go for it. I don't want to be with such a guy that I have to keep making the first move, telling him its ok and moving his hands etc. |

my experience on here is being a liar gets you want you want, actually that might be my experience of life in general too.
nice guys should get everything, nice people should. but it's unlikely they will coz they are nice. and being nice means not being selfish and caring too much. |

Caring and unselfish people can still get what they want.
Being nice is not an unattractive trait, though it may not be enough on its own to make you stand out

If you are happy.. then keep doing what you're doing. If you're not. Change it up a bit. |

I honestly think nice guys do eventually get there. I did. I treat everyone with respect, just like you. Change your profile as someone suggested, and maybe change your approach. Make sure to send each message referring to something in that person's profile or pictures. Shows you read it. |

Men put "nice" "respectful" etc as a result of countless statuses bitching and moaning (rightly so) about abusive nasty men, not because they feel the need to reinforce themselves but to reassure. |

For a starter they would certainly need a very good profile which includes decent photos.

FUCK what everyone else wants.. its what you want? Some people are more reserved, patient or not as needy as others.
If someone didn't want to meet me because I'm nice and respectful.. do you really think i should worry over it? Or if i wasnt quick enough in a reply.. or say and do the right things. So long as nobody is hurting.. No harm done.. no need to fret. Each to their own and all.. that's a bit of attitude a few more people would do better adopting online.. and off it. |

Women on here are not interested in "nice guys " they are only interested in stereotypical attractive men who are fit and sexually experienced and have big dicks....as long as the big dick is not on their head.
Women will delete, block and ignore any man who does not fall into this category. Put simply they are interested in a nice good fuck not a nice good guy. The two are not mutually inclusive.
