what's wrong with my profile?

I put thought into it but don't seem to get anywhere, sent messages are either deleted or have not been read when the peep's in question have been online. can anyone help? |

Messages come like London busses. I was on here 6 months without a meet. As soon as I got that first veri I got women responding to my messages. Your best bet is parties and clubs. Bound to get on with people there. |

I'd agree with the others on the profile text... That alone would put me off. The rest to me is fine... Lots don't mind smokers, and not everyone can accommodate, etc., the only negative I see there is the badly constructed profile text. |

You're up against it , have you seen the competition on this site ? It's a massive sweet shop sure someone will pick you . Have a gander at what other single guys put on their profile to get some ideas , but best of luck and yes patience is required  |

your profile is honest fella and shows you don't take yourself to seriously but its a bit short in my opinion .
if you have a female friend ask her for some advice and maybe add something to it about what your into ether sexual or not sexual as that helps to enable people to strike up a conversations with you .
never message as a random act would be my main advice only message in response to forum status and meet requests as that way you have a ready made conversation starter with someone who is open to chat and possibly more.
like so much in life the timing of a action is the most important thing to it being a successful action leading to a successful out come .

the guy was honest said he was over weight and hairy he obviously did this because those are what he considers to be two off putting things about himself in my opinion you normally pick up on that sort of thing and post accordingly . |

It's a bit bland and negative, it needs more life and humour.
If you were in a bookshop, and you were trying to choose between a plain book with a boring title, a blurb that didn't tell you much and which had 'well it's alright but not that good' reviews, compared to a bold book with a thought provoking title, an intriguing blurb and good reviews, which one would interest you more? |

Seems ok, if a little short, probably have to change and update mine XD Use this site as a bit of fun,. If you're not into swingers clubs (I'm not either) or adult party's I would expect months with no play, stay active on the forums, message those you actually think would get on, and eventually you will meet someone and have a blast. |

It's not much of an improvement to be honest. You still don't have any public pics and whilst your profile isn't negative it doesn't tell a prospective meet much. You are unlikely to find a bushcraft or fishing buddy on here, most of us are after sex .
Try saying more about what attracts you to a person. What are you looking for on here? Is there anything that really turns you on or you are keen to try?
You are one of many thousands of single men on fab - why should should someone choose to meet you instead of one of the others?

just be yourself pal, it's never a good start to try and be something your not... just give it time if people don't respond or even say no thanks.... it's not worth worrying about...people say go clubs but it's not so easy for people that are new to this to just turn up at a club, maybe try jumping in the east mids chat to talk to people or cam with a few people... my profile isn't the best because I simply don't care I'm young enough to go meet people the normal was aswell as the odd time on here... but if you need help just message me I'll try direct you the best ways I can..... not by simply saying you should change
