Some do, some don't, it's really that simple.

Ice breaker for us and we receive them. Shows a sign of interest maybe the lazy way

I admit I do send them as a way of showing interest but not too intrude too much as I'm well aware of the quantity of mail woman and couples get. If I get a wink back I'm happy to message.

I've got a grand total of two now, and treasuring them!!! All winks (or any other comma) bring me joy.
