Just my perspective. ( I'm not exactly a younger lady!) I don't think late 50's is too old at all. I think it does depend on what age group you're interested in though, and obviously on individual preferences. Personally, I wouldn't be interested in a man who was in his late 50's because you're my dads age. That being said, some women prefer an older man for his experience. Again, I don't think you're to old. I'd just consider who you're trying to tempt and respect others preferences... which I'm sure you do  xxx |

I remember when i was 13,14. 50 year old men and women looked old,the women were frumpy with apons on and curlers in their hair and the men wore long coats with flat caps on, walking a dig with cig hanging out of his mouth.but look at 50 year olds now and its a massive difference,a lot are sexy as fuck and in my opinion are far sexier than younger women....just my view |

I know plenty of 30 year olds who are "old" and boring.
I would look elsewhere for the reasons for your perceived " lack of success". |

As others have said two veris from two meets in two months doesn't suggest you're too old OP..sure there are some on here that have an age limit set that rules us over 50s out but then I have an age limit set that rules out those below a certain age so it's no different really, and there are still plenty that don't rule us oldies out
Other option is to try clubs where age rarely comes into it. |

Seriously though the idea of someone being "too old" fullstop is all bollocks in my view. I'm too old for some ladies/couples and too young for others. It's all about preference. At any age there'll be plenty looking for your age group. A 60 year old male will have plenty of women and couples his own age (do a search for womens and couples profiles aged 60 plus and see how many come up) seeking men his own age, plus I've seen plenty of couples profiles on here who actively seek men as old as posible as they find the idea of having sex with a very senior male a turn on. |

Omg you have got to be kidding me the older I get the hornier I am getting I am 42 so that theory is out the window.
The fact you are in the forum moaning about lack of meets shows desperation. People don't like desperation they can smell it a mile off. So my advice is just chill out and get your ass to a club and meet people there, you will have more luck and start to network a bit. |

This is a really good thread, as an Irish guy who visits England quiet regularly, I find English side of site far more tolerant and interested in us older guys than in Irish site. People are entitled to their age filters but I just think if we were able to say hello etc, then we wouldn't be seen as "over the hill!"
That said, have had fab times on here and made great friends, and certainly dont think its time to "retire" lol. |

Going on my own experiences of meets only;
More women aged say 25 have a sense of being spontaneous, don't have as much baggage and on a practical issue are free more often.
More women aged say 52 are in average confident in themselves and are decidedly more accomplished in bed.
However I've also learnt that you can't completely pigeonhole any demographic, including age. I've met an 18 year old a few years back who was very confident in herself and showed a huge amount of maturity beyond her years, which a lot of teens probably do, due to increased communication technology and sharing of knowledge. I've also met a 63 year old around the same time who was one of the most eager, spontaneous and keen to experiment ladies I've ever come across, with a sex drive that was through the roof! Then again she did come of age during the "flower power" years!
As far as physicality goes a lot also depends on a woman's lifestyle. There are plenty of 50-somethings I've met who are in better shape than a lot of 25 year olds.

Since I started in my 60's I've had more sex and fun than I ever had as a young man. If you have respect and a good personality and particularly good at sex then people will be interested.
I have a more limited scope due to age but amazed how many younger ladies I've met for fun. There are all sorts of people on here.
Good profile and willingness to meet are effective. |
