I'm finding this a little difficult to understand.
Surely their profile picture would be visible on their profile, so I'm not getting why they sent you a link to it.
Are you saying that when you have clicked on the link you are getting a 'page not found' error or something similar?
If I have understood your post correctly, I would suspect that this 'newbie' is now UNLOS |

This may be a privacy settings issue, as verification photos - that is pictures uploaded for 'Photo verification' are kept private - and not in the same way as users own 'private photos'
Users can attach 'Private photos' in messages but can not attach their verification photo.
I think you might want to ask admin for some clarification on this.
That said, this does sound rather suspicious behaviour to me |
