Well its all in the interpretation isnt it. If you are messaging someone every 2 minutes when they are online, they might reply to the first two messages and all is ok - to you that might mean you are having a nice converstion, to them, after receiving the 6th message, you might actually be pissing them off somewhat.
Otherwise they might just be busy messaging other people or typing on the forum. Who knows, dont worry about it, just carry on doing your own thing |

Maybe they just got sick and decided not to take it any further ?
We've done that 101 times to people - you get talking then get sick of the patter and just don't bother anymore.
It's not a crime is it ? People are allowed to change their minds and by joining the site they didn't enter into a contract which states that they have to explain why they suddenly what to end all communications.
This is an internet site, nothing more, nothing less. It's communications between anonymous people and it isn't the be all and end all of life and if kept in context there is no need to get hot under the collar or otherwise concerned or distressed because someone has suddenly, without warning stopped talking to you ... |

I think it definitely helps if you are confident in yourself and don't take things too personally. After a few weeks on here I have developed some thick skin.....I hope it's not a verruca! |

"Why is it when you think you are having a nice conversation with someone they suddenly don't reply to your messages without any warning. "
They are busy elsewhere and not taking any notice of their mailbox?
They have got bored?
Chatting in the chatroom?
Reading the forums?
Left their profile logged in but are not really there and are really having passionate sex with the next door neighbour?
Or even ..They are chatting to someone more interesting?
There is nothing worse than having people think you are there to talk to them and them alone. |

To be honest this is why I won't use MSN. Swapping messages on here is much more relaxing thatn a chat programme and I can read or ignore at my leisure.
Sometimes people need to sleep! |

I tend to log on to other sites too - the net is not just Fab and neither is life.
If I was awaiting for contact details for a meet tonight I may be more alert and not pooping out to come back home to realise I forgot to turn this off.
On the other hand I may have been looking through the site and got horny as ... and decided to go and slip one off before messaging people as that is probably the best advice I can give to most men.
Actually can't believe I just said that but it's too late now aint it.
Try it and come back and let us know if if you get more replies ???

I find many have iphones and look like they are online all the time so when u message them they do not realise ..thats why i much prefer msn chatting more personal and direct plus better for sending private pics too |

I do in part agree with op. At least, I mean, if in mid conversation I have to leave or do something I tell the person I am speaking to. I think its nice manners and tend to appreciate others who are the same. I can't say I'm bothered if they don't but feel I have more in common with the more well mannered people. |
