too long winded?

Our profile has all the details we want to get across but I suspect no one reads it all and gets bored less than half way through.

Constructive criticism welcome

I'd say the finally bit and the warning bit are pointless and could be removed. Also, the bit about what you're not looking for is a bit negative as you can block single guys in your filters. If you feel the rest is putting across what you want and people don't read it then use this as another filter.

Nice and clear. Please lose the disclaimer at the end though. It's long been proven that it's nonsense.

I'm not sure how many would read all of that. I personally like reading long ones. But mine is short, and hardly any bugger even reads mine! Haha

We like it, just the warning on the end is pointless

I usually scroll to the bottom of long ones and see if there's a warning. If there is, I'm on the back button

I like long profiles. Just my point of view. It gives clear details if I should send a message. But yours is a little too long for me.

Too short, and it gives me nothing to go off.

And to repeat, the disclaimer? Who is it for, I'm not going to read it, and anyone who came here to copy photos are not reading it either.

Don't see the point of the single man bit. Just use your filters.

not far from iceland,,,,,, tescos is nearer though :-) (near leeds)

I've said it many times ...the advice that's given to single guys asking for profile advice is just as applicable to all genders and demographics on here...

Not looking for bit...I'd lose its pointless what is a non genuine anything they don't a) recognise themselves as such b) won't care if they're non genuine. Same with the disclaimer

Other than that see the profile advice threads ..

My Own Little World

A couple of times you have put the same info down twice, maybe condense the bits about Libs as you have it in the 1st paragraph and again further down.

Lose professional.

Take out the bit about no single guys, you have filtered them out so they can't message you anyway.

And that pointless Sydney warning at the bottom, many use that as a filter NOT to message those with it on their profile.

Its a good profile but like someone already said I'd lose the bit about what your no looking for and use the sites filter system instead .

Yes though well written & detailed wld have to agree its a bit too long. Just summarise the bullet points eg interests, dislikes etc as most people honestly just scan through & never read the whole lot. Like the saying goes 'keep it short & sweet'

I think its very informative and well written, and anyone that was serious about meeting you would have no problem spending the 3 mins it took me to read

It's very well written and conveys you guys really well.

Your profile should reflect you, and you should be comfortable with it. As long as you're comfortable with it, and are happy with the information it portrays, don't worry about what other people think.

You're profile is often a filter in itself, as you will attract like minded people and the ones that don't like it, or can't be bothered to read it are likely the ones you wouldn't want to meet with anyway.

A good point very well made and we totally agree although the previous comments we have taken on board have been very useful and we are now happy that it portrays us well and hopefully will attract similar couples to us

I can't fault the text. It is good. Tells me all I would need to know.
