Been on here quite awhile, almost 2 months now I'd say... I literally feel like Ive gotten nowhere. It's so hard to get talking to a woman. I've tried my best with my profile... I try to make my messages original... Yet they all get deleted. Am I too young for this? I'm 18, but every woman seems to be 30+ and have zero interest in someone my age. I haven't made one decent friend on here since I've started and that is highly dissapointing I expected more from this site, so if anyone reads this and fancies a chat I'm here.  |

You've been here no time at all. Two months really is nothing.
You are one of a gazillion single guys looking to make connections and one of the very many who put up messages bemoaning the fact that women aren't jumping into bed with them within a week.
Yes, your age will rule you out for many women, but there'll be some who like the younger guy and there's definitely a trend towards younger folk getting involved.
It's important to realise that women get masses of messages in here and they'd need a secretary to reply to them all. My friend gets at least 30 a day. She hasn't the time to copy and paste "sorry, no thanks" 25 times a day.
There's a lot of things in your profile that will put off potential contacts too tbh.
The main thing to take away though, is that patience is needed for the single guy. Most who have succeess do so because they build a good presence here over time by contributing to the forums in a way that reveals their character, going to events etc. You need to be prepared to be in it for the long haul.

You start your profile with a big moan/complaint, I, like many others, check profiles before I even read a message, and to be brutally honest I wouldn't open a message based on what's on there.
Ask yourself one question, if you were looking through profiles and came across yours, would you want to send you a message? |

I've found the same thing around chatting. I love to chat and share experiences, to me it's a big part of the fun and if it builds up to a meet then great, but a lot of folk just want to meet up after a few one sentence replies and get hacked off when I say no! |
