I've been on here for quite a while now but don't get a lot of replies... My first messages ask how they are and how their days been, trying to be polite but is that wrong?
Also don't know what else I can do with my profile to make it more attractive...

Will be very honest with you, but I can't bare it when a complete stranger asks me how my day is - it comes across to me as a bit intrusive. And on the whole, I never really know how I'm supposed to respond to random guys saying 'how are you?'. At best these one-line messages get a bit samey in the end. So these type of messages get deleted. Its so much better to introduce yourself, and then say a bit about yourself, so as to spark some interest. |

Like a lot of people I have been off and on with fab for a number of years.
I have always put a lot of effort into first messages and have experimented with various forms... Always individual and always polite and respectful.
Very seldom get a reply.. ever a thank you but no is rare around here it seems these days |

Your updated profile reads well. Would spark my interest, so to speak, if everything else fitted well. By the way, we nearly always reply to personalised messages from people who have read our profile properly. |
