This is meant constructively.
Your name change it.
You don't ask for profile advice so I won't give it.
I'm going to trot out my Argos analogy. The site is not a browse, choose click, deliver service you need to put some work in
Good luck. |

"Okay, thanks for the advice. Can't change my username for a few days though. I thought it was funny at the time but obviously not !"
You're welcome.
I'm just one woman others might find it funny but if you like older women I would say most would pass you by based on that. Some one might be along in a minute and say they love it |

i always ignore compliments, it's pretty much a given the person finds you attractive if they've messaged you. it's not something that would engage me in conversation. |

"Usually I say "Hello, how're you ?" Then I'll compliment them or tell them what caught my eye on their profile."
Yes but they then read your profile, find it completely uninspiring and decide they really are not interested in conversing with you when there are much more interesting people to chat with.
That, I am afraid, is how it works. |

"Is it really that bad even after I made a few changes. I'm genuinely interested in what a good profile should read like."
One that is informative, interesting and attractive? Why did you ever think otherwise?
I thought profile changes were instantaneous but one learns something new every day. |

The smiling photo's nice .
There isn't a standard good profile but it's a good idea to say what you're looking for and what you can offer. |

"I'm sure I've changed it !
"
Well, before you change it again, have a browse through the profiles of more successful men on here. Do you notice a difference?
Perhaps they project a sense of personality? Humour even? A trace of individuality? More than a few sentences equating to, "I have a cock and want to stick it in a hole?"
Work out what you want to say before typing a few random words. It will do you a world of good. |

I know what you mean, mine is constantly a work in progress. I change it all the time. It's not easy, describing everything about yourself that you want people to know in just a few lines or paragraphs |

Hers is the profile of a person. Yours is the profile of a single man who wants his cock stimulated. |

It can be hard to write about yourself but if you imagine you are sitting in a pub with a female friend and she asks you to describe what you want form a woman and what you can offer I bet you'd be able to say it easily |

Then forget the standard crap put up by most single males. Be individual. Do not be afraid to appeal to minority audiences. Be you.
You do not have a limit on the number of words you use.
You may consider yourself crap at describing yourself but noone else can and if you are hoping to make an impression on here, how else can someone judge you?
Before you upload it, think about who you are trying to attract and how. Write it down on paper before committing it. Spell check. Grammar check. Then do it. |

Hello OP.
Yep, your name is off putting and calling me shallow because I think looks ARE important isn't the best start.
I also refer you to my lovely friends analogy that Fab is not like an Argos catalogue, you can't choose one and have it delivered to you and a 'how are you' message is fairly useless as the answer would usually be 'fine' (if you get one because not many open messages without reading the profile first) and then what would you say in reply? |

That last bit calling some people arrogant would put me off a bit, though I appreciate that I'm not myself in your target group.
The thing is, all that achieves I think is alienating the nice people here ... it won't make the slightest difference to the ones you're complaining about. Imho.
But anyway you're a dishy dude and a guitarist too, I can't be the only person who likes that

You need a good profile is it will be checked.
The contents of the message must show that read and understood the profile. It doesn't need to be long but more than Hi how are you. Don't uses copy & paste messages either. They are easy to spot.
Don't go overboard with compliments, that's easy to spot too.

Mate it doesn't matter what you write, say or looking for. If someone is going to reply then they will out of preference. It has nothing to do with your profile. I know people off here that write nothing on their profile and still manage to get loads of verifications and then some hot people with loads of pics and no one meets them. So trust me if it's going to happen it will just keep trying. |

I generally don't even open a message that says 'hello, how're you?' Because I can see that much without opening it.
Be original. Read the profile, tailor your message to the individual and aim for humour (provided it's funny) rather than graphic sexual chat and see how you go.
As others have said, there are a billion blokes here and the competition is tough. The name doesn't inspire me but I'm pretty fussy.

I wanted to reply yesterday but was unable to.
Profile name is much better.
Picture gallery is OK.
Profile isn't too bad, an improvement on before.
Personally I treat my profile as a work in progress, can't speak for others. Remember it's your profile, you don't have to take the advice you're given. Use what you think will help, don't worry about what you think won't help.
Every now and again I review mine and give it a tweek.
Same with my photos, add a couple, delete a couple. I've noticed adding a photo now and again, as opposed to lots at once gets me more visitors. One at a time and you'll pop up regularly on local updates, lots at once and you'll only be seen once.
A humerous status update helps and does the same.
Good luck, be patient and stay positive.
Don't give in to the urge to moan or rant, unless it's Thursday, in which case there's (usually) a whole thread dedicated to the cause.
Pop into the lounge and have a look around. You'll learn which threads to join in and which to avoid. Don't be afraid to contribute to the lunacy.
Crack on....... |

Cheers for the advice, what sort of photos should I be adding ? I'm not going to moan but this site can be very disheartening haha."
Thursday is moaning day, you've been warned.
What sort of photos? Good quality obviously. There's no set theme for photos, keep anything intimate/filthy/explicit in your private folder.
Mix up the subject, unusual choice of props.
One of the guys here has a thing about socks, another guy uses hats. Just pick a subject and make it your signature style.

I like that
That's simplistically brilliant. "

You do realise that if you take anyone's advice, and it works, you have to pass 10% of your shags to the advice giver in commission?

"What am I doing wrong ? No one seems to answer me haha !
No problem with 'big' women'...,very magnanimous of you .
Just a little thing I picked up on"
Didn't want it to be perceived like that at all. |

"i always ignore compliments, it's pretty much a given the person finds you attractive if they've messaged you. it's not something that would engage me in conversation."

"Is anyone else curious about what his user name was before he changed it, or just me
'VaginaConnoisseur95', we all do silly things haha"
That really is quite epically brilliant man.
I have a picture of you sat in a large leather chair, with a cigarette in a holder and a glass of whisky, twirling a moustache - saying "I'm a conossieur of the vagina" in a posh, louche voice.
Probably for the best it's gone I guess, but it's a sad loss in many ways.

And now I have an image of a vagina tasting club, where men such as you describe try to guess the vintage from the taste and aroma |
