You didn't ask for profile advice so as has been said 1000's of times before on here, get yourself to some socials and clubs. Your chances will increase exponentially.
Contrary to a lot of single guy beliefs on here, we've not heard of any real harm coming to them, although it's cheaper for women and couple's it's still better value than most vanilla nights out. From Bury you have a great club on your doorstep.
