Saw 'em (actual Pearl Jam, heh) last year, so good :D Not a fan of their newest few albums (a bit samey, and nothing too special in there if you ask me) but their 90s stuff can't be beat. Big fan of the other 'grunge' and alternative bands of the era too, saw Alice In Chains and Smashing Pumpkins within the last couple of years too
None of the above might be in their prime anymore (Soundgarden and Mudhoney are still at it too, making new stuff) but it's fantastic they're still around. |

Of course, I liked Pearl Jam and a lot of other bands in that scene. Last album I bought of theirs was Vitalogy though, on vinyl |

Was a pearl jam fan from day one but hated the vitalogy album and kinda lost it a bit for a while.
Enjoyed yield and pearl jam and think lightning bolt is brilliant.
I'm more into their more focused and conventional hard rock material and I'm hoping their next album is as good as the last. |
