there are some fake profiles on here, and dodgy people but mostly it is genuine people looking to meet others.

problem is the genuine people tend to be fussy about who they meet and chat with, so it's hard to get to know them. whereas fakes and con artists are desperate for people to chat with.

I can't comment on how this site compares with others in that regard, as I'm only on this site where there are plenty of genuine folk ...

I've spoken to a few really nice genuine women (They know who they are

) , However at the same time you do come across the unverified photo profile.

However would not matter what site you went on you would always get fake profiles.All part and parcel of the internet , Just take time ing out the genuine from the false.

There are fake people everywhere in life and not just online. If you are struggling to meet people then the best thing to do would be to go to a club.

I havnt actually come across a fake yet ,I've come across women who have used old pics ,I've come across women who don't chat ,I've come across ignorant women,I've come across women who say they are up for a date and to be taken for a meal but when asked where they wanted to meet said in a club

Not even close......the vast majority are real. It is, however, easy to use "fakes" as an excuse. You do, with experience, learn to spot them a mile away! Stick with it but remember you make your own "luck" and plenty of us have had years of success on here (whatever you measure success by that is)

OP - you are spot on - go back 5 years and Fab was a great place to set up MEETS with genuine people. Now it is infested with fakes and timewasters and has also become a) a chat site and b) an advertising space for swingers clubs.

All well and good but I am afraid meets with genuine people are now getting very few and far between. A few couples we know have left the site because of these reasons - good luck in your quest - but don't hold your breath!
