Struggling to get replies to my messages. Have tried both clean and dirty messages. Even tried humour

It's always a good idea to read the profile and mention some aspect of that in your message...but I agree with others in that it does depend a lot on your profile as to whether anyone will answer.. |

I think generally people dont like speaking to a silhouette, as soon as they see it you will probably get deleted.
When we search for people, we only search for people with public pics, so again you will get cut out of searches. |

as a silhouette profile, ie one with no profile pic, we delete messages without even reading unless images are attached.

Sorry but if I could see that there was no pic attached to your message, I would look at your profile and delete without even reading the message...you have to stand out from the crowd! |

We are perhaps different to most people, but for us, if we fancy you, we dont care if your Opening message jusy says "Hi" its enough to get the ball rolling. However we will expect your conversation skills to improve as the messages go backwards and forwards.
And conversely, if we don't fancy you, you wont change our minds no matter what you write. |

I'm the same as this, if i don't fancy then i just delete, and that's assuming there's pics in the first place. No pics also gets deleted. I also delete guys i fancy if they're presumptuous or just boring. Sometimes i have to delete loads of perfect guys as well coz i can't chat to everyone. That's how it is.
So attraction, interesting conversation, and timing is how it works for me. |
