Hi all.
I have been here a couple of months and chatted with some wonderful people.
Still havent met anyone though. Happy to meet couples or females but getting that first verification is proving to be a tad difficult x

Don't be too focused on getting that first verification.
Yes, it's helpful to have verifications, but making getting one as your priority is likely to prove counter-productive and will actually put people off of meeting you as they will be under the impression that you're just looking to get verified and so will meet anyone in order to get it, and are less interested in them for who they are and the quality or any encounter.
Have patience young man. Most single guys wait around six months to get that first meet. Yes, some enjoy better success, whilst others wait longer.
Focus your efforts on making your profile stand out (for the right reasons) and make people want to meet you for who you are and what they are likely to get out of a meet with you. |

I had far too many 30+ i think so culled most of them.

There are plenty of clubs and socials in London, maybe trying one of those woul be a good stepping stone. Also attending a social you will get that first veri you so desire.

Thanks for the tip.
Being a single guy makes the clubs a bitdaunting so if there are any clubs which are particularly single friendly i shall be sure to check them out. |

I only went to my first club last week, ha a couple of beers before I went to calm the Nervs. Very one was polite an friendly and it was a welcoming atmosphere. Now I look back there is nothing to be scared of. I'm now re attending next week haha. |

Paradise Spa is my closest.
Thing is they charge a £40 entramce fee.
Makes it feel a little too close to paying for sex (not that I am judging anyone who does, just not for me)

Would say get yourself along to a social, we have lots of them here in S Wales and only a couple of £££ entrance. You must have loads up around London? Don't pay to go into clubs have a look around for socials. You will also be surprised at how friendly people are at them and remember we are all like minded people. Good luck |

. That is a fairly standard entrance fee for most clubs . It might also save you having to spend endless time messaging people on fab , so it could be money well spent .Clubs have lots of overheads and have to recover the costs . |
