What's the best way for me to get verified, i have had a couple of meets from the site but that was a while ago and those couples no longer log on.

A social I would say is definitely the best way. But only if you're confident and chatty (like me) and actually chat to loads of people at the social. That way you'll have a ton of veris in a matter of days. But remember, be polite. Always.
